Day 5 – July 8th – Amherst, NS to North Sydney

Day 5 – July 8^th – Amherst, NS (Loch Lomond) to North Sydney (Arm of Gold). Not too much to report today – another travel day.  A very damp morning, it started to rain about ½ an hour before we decided to pack up and leave.  Oh well…..

Joan and Vance are still in Edmundston, NB due to truck issues, it looks like a new turbo is needed, bummer.  They will join us in Twillingate on July 13^th.  All the adjustments in plans have been made with no issues.

The rain that started in Amherst, NS lasted to almost Cape Breton, the roads were good, a lot more hills than I remember though??

We arrived in North Sydney (Arm of Gold Campground) to clearing skies and we are currently under cloudless, sunny skies, breezy but very warm - no bugs!– yippee, hope this keeps up J

We cross on July 10^th, grocery shopping tomorrow.
