Day 7 – July 10th – North Sydney to Doyles Station, NL via Ferry

Day 7 – July 10th – North Sydney – Arm of Gold Campground to Grand Codroy, near Doyles Station, NL via Ferry

Left Arm of Gold in plenty of time for the ferry, took bikes and rack off back of Ti.  Good move as when we were measured we were exactly 50’, which is what we had estimated, Yea!!  About ½ hour before we boarded the skies opened up for about 25 minutes, it cleared up and we boarded.  Uneventful crossing, got into some really heavy fog about an hour out of Port Aux Basque, we could not see the stern (blunt end for you nautical types), which was about 100’ from where we were.  Just as we docked it cleared up and the sun broke through, a very nice welcome back to NL J.

Joan and Vance arrived at the Arm of Gold this afternoon with no issues, they will be crossing on July 12th and will meet up on the 13th, all is good.

NL is just the way we left it 5 years ago, I think the road to Codroy is actually better!! We have been here about 2 hours and we are amazed at the beauty!

Find the Titanium??
